My name is Ariella Blackman, and I am a third-year undergraduate student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology pursuing a Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering. I am passionate about human spaceflight, including life support and crew systems, bioastronautics, spaceflight operations, and human-system interactions. I also enjoy examining the intersection of science and engineering fields. 

       I am also interested in the performing arts, including dance, music, and musical theater. I love finding new ways to demonstrate my passion for STEM creatively. I find it extremely fulfilling to use my background to combine skills I have learned from science and performing arts to promote the importance of gender equality in STEM. I have reached where I am today due to so many who have given their support, and I enjoy conducting outreach to ensure that STEM fields are accessible to everyone.
